17-year-old motorcyclist who died in crash identified

The 17-year-old who died in a motorcycle crash Monday morning was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Brendan Rocheleau, of Las Vegas, died after his 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 collided with a 2011 Nissan Rogue shortly before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Canyon Drive and Ann Road.

The SUV flipped to its side and the 16-year-old female driver suffered minor injuries.

This was the 69th traffic related fatality in Las Vegas police’s jurisdiction in 2013.
