All of Las Vegas Boulevard now open again in front of Mandalay Bay

Updated October 3, 2017 - 6:35 pm

Las Vegas Boulevard reopened in front of Mandalay Bay Tuesday evening for the first time since Sunday’s deadly shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.

The Strip between Russell Road and Tropicana Avenue became a crime scene at 10:08 p.m. Sunday, when Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the resort, killing 59 people and injuring hundreds more.

At 4:40 p.m., the Metropolitan Police Department announced that the southbound lanes had reopened. The rest of the road had reopened by 6:30 p.m.
