Woman killed in Friday crash on I-15 near Glendale identified

A woman who was killed in a crash Friday morning near Glendale has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

She is 75-year-old Gloria Edith Reamer, of Beaver, Utah, the coroner’s office said.

Nevada Highway Patrol was called about 9 a.m. Friday to the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 near Glendale at mile marker 90, about 50 miles outside Las Vegas, after a Dodge pickup sideswiped a Toyota Yaris and then crashed into the back of a stopped semitruck, the highway patrol said.

Reamer, a passenger in the Dodge, was flown by helicopter to University Medical Center in critical condition. She later died at the hospital.

Dave Reamer, the Dodge’s driver, was taken to UMC with serious injuries, the highway patrol said.

“He has multiple injuries and has had a couple surgeries,” Reamer’s daughter wrote to the Las Vegas Review-Journal Tuesday. He was in fair condition Tuesday night, UMC spokeswoman Erica Nansen said.
