Train hits, kills transient in Kingman

KINGMAN, Ariz. — A transient was killed when struck by a train in Kingman early Wednesday.

Railroad personnel notified the Kingman Police Department at 6 a.m. following the train-pedestrian collision along the tracks under the bridge at Hualapai Mountain Road.

The victim was identified as Ian Christopher Horn, 50.

Agency spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said Horn’s death is under investigation.
