Suspect in August double homicide arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with an Aug. 11 double homicide near South Nellis Boulevard, Las Vegas police said in a statement.
Adolfo Rodriguez, 20, was arrested after giving false information to an officer during a traffic stop and was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was identified as a suspect in last year’s killing of two men in the 3000 block of South Nellis Boulevard.
Besides the charge of false information to a police officer, Rodriguez faces two charges of open murder, two charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of conspiracy to commit murder and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Francisco Acosta, 26, was also named a suspect after the killings. He is in federal custody on unrelated charges and will be transferred to the detention center to face the same charges.
