Tahoe authority: No deal by Friday, no fireworks July 4

Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority officials have decided that if a settlement agreement is not reached with a couple who filed a lawsuit cannot be reached by Friday, they’ll pull the plug on their sponsorship of the spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display at the lake that they say helps pump more than $30 million into the local economy.
