One dead in fall from Grand Canyon rim

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. — Authorities at Grand Canyon National Park say a person has died after apparently falling off the South Rim.

WASHINGTON — Federal authorities are investigating threats against Sen. Harry Reid, U.S. Capitol Police confirmed Monday, following the standoff over Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s “trespass cattle.”

Latino students equal white peers in Nevada’s college grad rate
