Local agencies team up to catch drunk drivers

Las Vegas police will team up with law enforcement agencies statewide to crack down on drunken drivers starting Thursday.

Between March 17 and 31, the Metropolitan Police Department will work with Henderson police, the Nevada Highway Patrol and other agencies to conduct saturation patrols searching for impaired drivers

The team-up is part of a “joining forces” event between Nevada law enforcement. Anyone who suspects a driver may be drunk should call 911 and provide a vehicle description, license plate number and location.
