Woman shot dead at NLV apartment complex identified

The Clark County coroner’s office on Saturday identified the woman who was shot dead after an argument at a North Las Vegas apartment complex.

Calandra Annette Thompson, 42, of North Las Vegas, was in an argument with multiple people at Craig Ranch Villas apartments’ parking lot, near Casa Norte Drive and Commerce Street about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday when she was shot in the chest.

She later died at University Medical Center, North Las Vegas police said.

The shooter or shooters fled the scene, according to police. No arrests or suspect description have been released as of Saturday afternoon.
