Woman killed in rollover accident on Las Vegas Beltway

A 65-year-old woman died after the SUV she was traveling in rolled over Sunday morning, the Nevada Highway Patrol said Monday.

The Highway Patrol identified the woman as Margaret Crinigan of Las Vegas.

According to the Highway Patrol, Crinigan was a passenger in a Ford Explorer that was traveling east on the Las Vegas Beltway approaching southbound Interstate 15.

The driver was traveling too fast and lost traction on the wet roadway, the Highway Patrol said. The Explorer overturned on the left shoulder of the transition ramp.

Crinigan was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
