Woman killed in collision with concrete mixer truck identified

The woman killed in a car accident involving a concrete mixer dump truck on Wednesday in northwest Las Vegas has been identified.

Mizuki Uchida, 24, was making a turn at the intersection of Stange Avenue and Cliff Shadows Parkway just before 11 a.m. when her Toyota Corolla collided with the concrete truck.

She was taken to University Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

The Clark County coroner’s office has not yet released Uchida’s cause of death.
