Woman, 80, dies in North Las Vegas car crash
An 80-year-old woman died after an early morning crash Friday in North Las Vegas.
The woman, who was not identified, was driving a 1996 Nissan Maxima east on Lone Mountain Road about 5:45 a.m. when she turned left onto Decatur Boulevard in front of a 2007 Chrysler Sedan, police said.
The woman died about three hours later at University Medical Center.
The 22-year-old driver of the Chrysler received minor injuries and will not face charges, North Las Vegas police said.
