Winds bringing cooler temperatures to Las Vegas Valley

Warm temperatures and wind gusts are forecasted in the Las Vegas Valley through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

A light breeze on Monday is expected to change to winds up to 28 mph by Tuesday and Wednesday, temporarily cooling temperatures from 102 to 97 degrees.

The weather service indicated Lake Mead’s heat will continue to linger around 107 degrees with wind gusts up to 31 mph.

Temperatures are expected to cool off on Mount Charleston with a high of 77 degrees. However, winds are expect to be their strongest Tuesday night at 46 mph.
