Walking tour points out UNLV’s ecosexy spots
UNLV got a glimpse Wednesday of the intersection of ecology and sexology with a guided walking tour of campus “ecosexy spots.”
The event included orientation to teach about 15 participants 25 ways to make love to the planet. Elizabeth Stephens and her wife, Annie Sprinkle, founded what they call the field of sexecology, which encourages folks to “marry the planet,” to hug trees, to massage the earth with their feet, worship the sun, caress rocks and admire the Earth’s curves.
Wednesday’s event was part of an Earth Day series, including a lecture, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Sprinkle, a former adult film star with a PhD in human sexuality, and Stephens, a professor at UC Santa Cruz, said they wanted to help Las Vegas Valley residents find their “E-spot,” and enjoy the eroticism of nature through their senses.
