Two killed in single-car crash on Cheyenne offramp

Two people were killed Thursday morning in a crash in the western valley.

Ma Perlita Supnet Macala, 66, and Eugene Fajardo Macala, 72, both of Las Vegas, were killed about 1:30 a.m. in a single-vehicle crash at the Las Vegas Beltway near Cheyenne Avenue, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Police said Ma Perlita Supnet Macala was driving a white Toyota Camry on the northbound Cheyenne off-ramp when the car struck a barrier at a high speed.

Both of the victims died at the scene.
