Police ask for help finding woman missing at Red Rock Canyon

Las Vegas police are searching for a woman who went missing Thursday afternoon at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Elisabeth Reeves, 34, was last seen about 12:10 p.m. Thursday near Lost Creek Trail, which can be accessed via Scenic Loop Drive in Red Rock Canyon. She was wearing a dark jacket and a black sweater with blue jeans and flip flops. Reeves was also seen carrying a black backpack before she went missing.

Police said Reeves might be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical help.
