Police arrest substitute teacher accused of having sex with student

A female substitute teacher was arrested Wednesday on a charge of sexual misconduct with a student, Ken Young of the Clark County School District police said.

The investigation began in December when school police were made aware of an incident involving 23-year-0ld Robyn Gentile and a 17-year-old male student, Young said.

Gentile had worked as a substitute teacher in Clark County for three years before the investigation began. During the time of the incident, Gentile was teaching at Harney Middle School in East Las Vegas. The student involved was not attending that particular school.
