Pedestrian killed in Las Vegas hit-and-run identified
The man killed in a hit-and-run on Feb. 27 has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as 60-year-old Joe E. Collins.
Collins was crossing Torrey Pines Drive just north of Casada Way outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck around 10:30 p.m., Las Vegas police said.
The vehicle, described as a dark-colored, midsize to large sport utility vehicle, continued north on Torrey Pines without stopping after striking Collins.
