Pedestrian injured in east Las Vegas accident

A crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian is causing traffic congestion near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard Monday morning.

A male pedestrian was struck outside of a crosswalk about 6:15 a.m. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for evaluation, according to Las Vegas police.
