Pedestrian hit on E. Harmon in serious condition

A pedestrian was in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Metro police responded about 8:25 p.m. to a report of a man in his 50s being struck in the 300 block of East Harmon Avenue. The man was not in a marked pedestrian crossing area, according to police.

The man was taken to the trauma center at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

Both East Harmon and Paradise Road were closed to ongoing traffic.

No arrests were made and the driver was cooperating with police, according to Metro Lt. Ken Romaine.
