Updated December 21, 2018 - 3:56 pm

A man was stuck and killed by a car in the north Las Vegas Valley on Thursday night, police said.

Police were called about 6:10 p.m. about the accident on the 5100 block of Ann Road, east of Twilight Chase Street and near North Decatur Boulevard, said Metropolitan Police Department Lt. William Matchko.

Police believe the man was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by a 2017 Acura MDX traveling east on Ann Road, police said Friday.

The man was taken to Centennial Hills Hospital, where he later died, police said. The Clark County coroner’s office will identify the man.

The 46-year-old man driving the Acura remained at the scene and did not appear to be impaired, police said.

The crash marked the 134th traffic-related fatality Metro has investigated this year, police said.
