A man died following a Wednesday crash near the 215 Beltway at Summerlin Parkway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

Two landscaping trucks with trailers collided where the freeways intersect about 10:05 a.m.

One vehicle left the highway and went down the rock slope and catching fire.

The driver of the truck that caught fire, identified as a man in his 30s, died later at University Medical Center, said NHP trooper Chelsea Webster. There were five people in the truck during the crash. Three of the passengers were taken to the hospital.

There were two occupants in the second vehicle, who also went to University Medical Center.
