NLV police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run

North Las Vegas police have asked for help locating the driver in a fatal hit-and-run collision.

At 5:25 p.m. on Dec. 21, a red Toyota Tacoma travelling east on East Cheyenne Avenue near North Carroll Street hit Santiago Sanchez-Adame, 57, and a 4-year-old boy. Sanchez-Adame died, the boy suffered minor injuries.

The truck is believed to be a 1997 to 2000 model with damage to the right front near the headlight. The driver left the scene without stopping, police said.
