A woman died early Wednesday morning after her SUV drove off the road in west Las Vegas.

Investigators believe that at 3:32 a.m., a 2020 Ford Expedition drove off the road near Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way and struck a wall, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department.

The driver and only person in the vehicle was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Samantha Trattler, 35, of Las Vegas.

She was taken to University Medical Center where she died, police said.
