Motorcylist killed in Wednesday accident identified

A 61-year-old man who was killed Wednesday after he crashed a motorcycle into a block wall was identified Friday.

James Zaro of Las Vegas died after he crashed a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle on Reno Avenue, west of Pearl Street. Las Vegas police said he veered off the left side of the road and struck the block wall.

Zaro died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

This was the 25th fatal collision in the Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction this year.
