A 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a south valley crash Friday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The collision was reported at 6:29 p.m. at the intersection of South Jones Boulevard and West Badura Avenue, near the 215 Beltway, police said.

A Harley Davidson Road Glide was speeding north when it hit a turning Mazda minivan, police said.

The Las Vegas man died at the scene, while the other motorist was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.

Police said the investigation was ongoing.

Less than six hours later, Las Vegas police responded to another speeding, single-vehicle crash that killed two people at East Sahara Avenue, east of Voyage Cove Drive, they said.
