Missing Las Vegas girl found safe

Missing 10-year-old Summer Lautzenheiser was found Saturday morning, Las Vegas police said.

She was first reported missing Friday night, after she was last seen leaving her home about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the northeastern Las Vegas Valley near East Carey Avenue and Mt. Hood Street, north of Lake Mead Boulevard.

No other details were immediately available, but the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed Saturday morning she had been “safely located.”
