Metro: Trio wanted in casino theft

Las Vegas police on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in finding several people who stole from a casino last month.

On Sept. 23, a theft was reported to Metro from the Tropicana, police records show. Metro said that two men and a woman went into the business separately at about 4:30 p.m.

One man appeared to commit the actual theft, which police described only as “personal property,” but the three were seen getting into the same car and detectives believe they were working together.

One man was described as being 30 to 40 years old with an “average” height and weight. He had dark hair and wore glasses.

The other man was 40 to 50 years old and was short and heavy, police said.

The woman was 20 to 30 years old, slim and had long straight hair.

The trio was seen leaving in a silver or grey Mazda 3.

Anyone with any information about this incident can contact Metro’s Detective Bluth at 702-828-3455. To remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
