Man’s remains found at Lake Mead identified

A man whose remains were found two weeks ago at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Saturday as Charles Finley III, 45, of Las Vegas.

The cause of death was still pending on Saturday, the coroner said.

His was one of two bodies found by kayakers and boaters at different locations of the recreation area on Oct. 18, Lake Mead spokeswoman Christie Vanover said.
