Man jumps to his death at Imperial Palace

A man jumped several stories to his death at the Imperial Palace on Monday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.

Lt. Patrick Charone said the apparent suicide occurred between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Strip resort, at 3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Authorities did not release the man’s identity.

Charone said the man fell and landed in a courtyard between the Imperial Palace and Harrah’s Las Vegas.
