Man identified from Friday’s fatal bus crash

Las Vegas Metro officers investigate an incident involving a Citizens Area Transit bus and a pedestrian along Las Vegas Boulevard just south of Owens on Friday. The man was killed during the noon time accident has been identified as Leo Preston Miller.
A man who was killed after being hit by a bus Friday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Leo Preston Miller, 53, was killed after he walked into the path of a bus as it traveled north on Las Vegas Boulevard near Owens Avenue.
Witness statements and surveillance video suggest Miller intentionally entered the path of the bus, according to Las Vegas police.
This investigation is ongoing.
