Man driving stolen motorcycle critical after crash, police say

A motorcyclist driving a bike police say was stolen is in critical condition after crashing into a wall Tuesday morning in the east valley, according to a Las Vegas police report.

Officers were called to the 5100 block of East Twain Avenue near South Nellis Boulevard about 5:30 a.m. where the male driver had steered the 2002 Honda CBR into a cinder block wall, police said. He had just exited an apartment complex in the same block.

The motorcyclist was taken to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Metro did not identify him.

Metro’s fatal detail was investigating the crash.
