Las Vegas police looking for suspect in July robbery

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man connected to an armed robbery in the northwest valley near Lake Mead and Decatur boulevards.

The crime occurred just after midnight on July 27 when the a man carrying a semi-automatic handgun walked into a Speedee Mart at 4701 W. Lake Mead Blvd. He pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money, then fled after receiving the cash.

The man is described as white or Hispanic with brown, poofy hair, 20 to 25 years old, 6-feet to 6-feet-2-inches tall and 200 to 220 pounds. He was wearing a white or gray long-sleeve shirt, a blue baseball cap, denim shorts, black socks, white shoes and large-framed sunglasses.
