Las Vegas police: 1 shot in attempted robbery

A person is hospitalized after being shot by an attempted robber Wednesday night near West Sahara Avenue and South Valley View Boulevard, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called to 4100 Silver Dollar Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. after the shooting, Metro spokesman Jesse Roybal said.
The person who was shot was taken to University Medical Center with at least one wound that was not life-threatening, Roybal said Thursday.
The robber was not arrested and has not been identified, police said.
