A 54-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday evening after he crashed into the back of another vehicle.
Las Vegas police said Gary Jessen was riding a 1992 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle north on Sloan Lane, near Carey Avenue and Mount Hood Street in the eastern valley, when he struck a 1997 Ford Explorer about 6:30 p.m.
Jessen, of Las Vegas, was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
