I-15 South reopens near Primm after crash

Interstate 15 South reopened with a sluggish pace for motorists late Friday night after the highway was closed for hours following a semi-truck crash near the California state line.

The crash, which is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol, happened at Yates-Well Road, near Primm, about 60 miles south of Las Vegas, NHP spokesman Loy Hixson said. Officers responded to the crash shortly before 3 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic cameras showed traffic moving slowly for miles in the affected area.
