Henderson police seek missing 10-year-old boy

Henderson Police are asking for the public’s help in its search for a 10-year-old boy who was last seen leaving home Wednesday afternoon.

Edward Lopez, who i left his home on Maleena Mesa Street, near Wigwam Parkway and Stephanie Street, about 4 p.m., police said. He is African-American, about 4 feet 5 and 95 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, light blue jeans, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.

Edward was seen Wednesday with Trent Henrickson, a 15-year-old boy reported as a runaway on Monday. Trent is described as a white, about 5 feet 5, 140 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and tan pants. The boys know each other and live in the same neighborhood.

Detectives said they don’t suspect foul play.
