A 2-year-old girl was struck by a van about 9:30 p.m. Thursday and died at Pecos Road and Dillon Avenue, a Las Vegas police watch commander said.
Las Vegas police Lt. Ken Romane said the driver remained at the scene and the department’s fatal detail had responded.
He said Pecos was shut down in both directions for the investigation.
“At this point there is nothing indicating” alcohol was involved, Romane said.
