Flash flood warning issued for northeast Clark County

A flash flood warning has been issued for northeast Clark County, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy rains were reported about 7:50 p.m. Thursday about 15 miles north of Floyd Lamb State Park. The storm dumped roughly three inches of water in the area, and then “basically died,” a weather service official said.

Flooding from the deluge was expected in the area just east of U.S. Highway 95, near Alamo Road and Mormon Well Road.

The warning is in effect until 2 a.m. Friday
