A car crash Monday shut down the Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue intersection during the afternoon, according to Las Vegas police.
About 4:12 p.m., a Chevrolet Trailblazer ran a red light and crashed into a tractor-trailer, Metro spokesman Lt. Dave Valenta said.
The driver of the truck was taken to University Medical Center. Valenta said the driver’s injuries appeared to be non-critical.
