Las Vegas resident Ardelle Bellman said, “This is Annie (top) and Al, sister and brother rescued one hour before euthanasia at one week old. Now 2½ years old, how could I ever be without them? They are joyful and joyous to me. Perhaps this photo will motivate some to adopt cats or kittens out of the 18,000 that are euthanized yearly at Lied Animal Shelter.”

Jennifer
Nevada SPCA
I’ve survived cruelty and starvation. Still, I believe in people and only look ahead, hopeful for bright days of loving contentment. My name is Jennifer, and I am a pretty bully mix, about 5 years of age and spayed. I love leaning up against gentle people and chasing laser lights. Please adopt me and show me the best of human nature.
The Nevada SPCA is a no-kill animal sanctuary at 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas. For more information, visit nevadaspca.org or call 702-873-7722.
