Susan and Dan Walsh of Henderson said, “This is Trixi, our golden retriever we rescued in Montana. Even though she has hip dysplasia and arthritis of the spine, she is an avid Frisbee player. Vets have told us to be thankful for any time with her after 8 — she turned 9 last month!”

Gina and Michael Campbell of Las Vegas said, “This is a photo of Moose and Otter. Moose is a black pit/Labrador who was rescued from Lied Animal Shelter five years ago. He recently beat cancer and is doing great! Otter is our 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, whom we rescued from the pet adoptions outside of our local PetSmart.”
