TOURS OF NEW CITY HALL SET
FOR WEDNESDAY AND MARCH 28

Tours of the new Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St., are available from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and March 28.

The tours are about 25 minutes long. Visitors may park in the public parking garage adjacent to city hall free for two hours with validation.

SMALL BUSINESS SOCIAL EVENT TO FOCUS
ON WOMEN AND MINORITY ENTREPRENEURS

Owners of small, woman- and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to attend Clark County’s Meet Your Customer Day, slated from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda Gallery, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Attendees can meet purchasing analysts and county staff.

NONPROFIT GROUPS TO NETWORK WEDNESDAY AT CLARK COUNTY LIBRARY

The Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road, plans to host a munch-and-mingle event for nonprofit groups at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Jewel Box Theater.

Attendees are encouraged to bring brochures and other information about their organizations.

SENIOR TALENT TO BE SOUGHT AT AUDITIONS

The Las Vegas Senior Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road, plans to accept applications for its Senior Idol auditions beginning Monday at the front desk.

Auditions are planned for May 9 and 10 by appointment, and applications must be submitted no later than April 27. The final performance is scheduled for June 14 at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.

AT LIED DISCOVERY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Registration is open for summer camps at the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Camp sessions are slated to begin June 11 through the week of Aug. 13. Sessions from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. are available. The cost is $125 per weekly session for museum members or $140 for nonmembers.
