Woman thanks those
who came to her aid

I recently collapsed on the sidewalk while walking around a housing area near the Henderson Multigenerational Center. A kindly stranger named Doug who had been exercising his two dogs came to my rescue. He helped me through the ordeal, eventually called 911 and hung around as a witness. Another young man named Isaiah, who had been riding a scooter, also helped. The paramedics from the Henderson Fire Department were efficient, comforting and friendly. I am grateful to all of them and can’t thank them enough for their help. It’s not an experience I want to repeat, but meeting heroes like them is serendipity.
