Aaron Jacobson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
Jacobson is the son of William Jacobson of Henderson.
Elizabeth Remer, 14, has received the President’s Education Award at Lawrence Junior High School.
She has made the Principal’s Honor Roll for straight A’s the last three years.
Elizabeth was nominated to participate in the People to People Ambassador Program. She will travel to six countries in Europe this summer representing the United States.
She is the daughter of Mary Remer of Las Vegas and David Remer of Diamond Bar, Calif.
Hunter Hill, 17, has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.
He is a member of Troop 360.
Hill, a student at Arbor View High School, plays varsity baseball and soccer and is an honor student.
In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding and running. He hopes to pursue a career in anesthesiology.
Hill is the son of Bill and Stacey Hill of Las Vegas.
Jansen Mark Jorgensen, 17, has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.
A member of Troop 476, he helped build a brick wall enclosure for his Eagle project.
A student at Coronado High School, Jorgensen was named student of the month.
He enjoys cooking, gaming and playing guitar and hopes to pursue a career in computer information technology.
He is the son of David and Lynette Jorgensen of Henderson.
Trent W. Corwin-Bobosh, 11, has received the Arrow of Light award, the Cub Scouts’ highest award.
He is a member of Pack 562 Canyon Ridge Christian Church.
Trent is a student at Cornerstone Christian Academy, where he made the A-B honor roll for the 2010-11 school year.
He enjoys baseball, basketball, camping and riding BMX.
Trent is the son of CluAynne M. Corwin of Las Vegas and Stephen J. Bobosh II of Henderson.
Brittney Regal, a senior at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester.
Regal is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Regal of Henderson.
Samantha Novack of Henderson has been named to the dean’s list at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., for the spring 2011 semester.
Justin Nary of North Las Vegas has been named to the honor roll for the fall 2010 semester at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
Heiden Ratner of Henderson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., on May 22.
John W. Allender of Henderson has graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Md., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Allender.
