There can never be too many good Thai restaurants, with the emphasis on good. And good means pad Thai, kar nom jeap, pad kee mou and kang dang. Discover these dishes at Siri Thai, along with basil duck, Bangkok steak, Royal Grand spicy seafood combination and Siri Thai fried rice with beef, chicken, barbecue pork, shrimp, pineapple and cashews. Other entrees include spicy catfish, Thai beef salad, stir-fried scallops, Singapore noodles, seafood salad, spicy mint noodle with chicken, pork, beef, tofu or shrimp and plar goong, large grilled shrimp with garden spices, lettuce, hot peppers and lime juice. Popular appetizers are pot stickers, spring rolls, crispy squid, pork dumplings and fried tofu. Among the a la carte items are egg fu yong, Mongolian beef or chicken, spicy eggplant with choice of meat or fish, mixed vegetables with tofu and Thai barbecue chicken. There are soups, (hot and sour, jasmine rice, beef and meatball noodle), salads and various rice and noodle dishes. Let dessert be sweet sticky rice with mango or Thai custard. House specials start at $9.95, and noodle/rice/curry entrees begin at $7.95. Siri Thai is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
