Dining pick of the week: Chinatown Cuisine

From the moment this restaurant opens until the moment it closes, an all-day buffet is served that includes a variety of soups, seafood, poultry, beef, noodle, pork and rice dishes. The regular menu is available with entrees such as Szechwan shrimp, roast duck, lemon chicken, Hong Kong chow mein, sweet and sour pork, shrimp with broccoli or pea pods, vegetable chow mein, Mongolian beef, curry chicken, scallops with celery, squid with black bean sauce, moo goo gai pan, green onion beef, house special fried rice, egg foo yong, moo shu pork with Chinese pancake and beef chop suey. Several chef specials are the hot and spicy Singapore noodles, beef with black pepper, sesame chicken and Kung Pao squid. There are combination plates that start at $5.95 and family-style dinners that range from $7.25 to $11.25 per person. Among the soups are chicken egg drop, sizzling rice and hot and sour. Featured appetizers are pot stickers, spare ribs, pu pu platter (paper chicken, egg roll, fried shrimp, curry puffs, beef stick, barbecued pork) and fried Peking egg roll. A child’s plate has an egg roll, barbecue ribs and fried rice. Chef specials begins at $6.50. Chinatown Cuisine is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
