FOR VICTIMS OF WILDFIRE

Golden Gaming, operator of PT’s and Sierra Gold taverns in Southern Nevada, is partnering with the American Red Cross to support the Fire Hurts Red Cross Helps campaign to aid victims of home and wild land fires, such as the Carpenter 1 Fire on Mount Charleston.

WEST SAHARA AVENUE LOCATION

Firehouse Subs was set to open its 10th Las Vegas Valley location July 3 at 7865 W. Sahara Ave. The restaurant’s mural features the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Station with the mountains of Red Rock Canyon in the background.

Hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Marché Bacchus, 2620 Regatta Drive, is scheduled to host a wine dinner featuring Vietti wines at 6:30 p.m. July 18. A cocktail reception is planned to start the evening, followed by a five-course dinner with wine pairings. Luca Currado, owner and vintner of Vietti Winery, is scheduled to be on hand. The family-run winery is located in Italy’s Piemonte region.

JULY 19 EVENT TO MIX WINE AND YOGA
AT LIFE TIME FITNESS

Vino and Vinyasa, a wine and workout event, is planned for 8 p.m. July 19 at Life Time Fitness, 10721 W. Charleston Blvd. The event will begin with an hourlong Vinyasa yoga class on the outdoor pool deck and after participants can enjoy sangria and passed appetizers.

FERRARO’S OFFERING MOUNT CHARLESTON RELIEF MENU TO BENEFIT RED CROSS

Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant, 4480 Paradise Road, is offering a Mount Charleston Relief menu to benefit the American Red Cross with providing assistance for those evacuated due to the Carpenter 1 Fire.

The four-course menu is $50 (tax included) and is available through July 17 from 11:30 a.m. to close.

Ferraro’s is also requesting the community bring sealed cases of water directly to the restaurant, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

STEVE MARTORANO TO OPEN RESTAURANT AT PARIS LAS VEGAS

Steve Martorano plans to open a new restaurant at Paris Las Vegas, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, in early 2014. He plans to continue operations at his Rio location.

The new restaurant is planned to feature dishes such as Eggplant Stack, South Philly cheesesteak and “Macaroni,” including Rigatoni Sunday Pork Gravy and Bucatini Carbonara.

The restaurant will occupy the large space along the property’s Le Boulevard shopping and dining corridor that is now Le Provençal.

JOE’S STONE CRAB ANNOUNCES
CLASSIC LUNCH COMBINATION

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab at The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has introduced Classic Lunch combinations for $21.95. The prix fixe meal offers an order of fried chicken with coleslaw and four cheese mac and cheese with a slice of Cherries Jubilee pie.
