Thirteen local restaurants are scheduled to participate in the Building Champions Against the Odds Campaign to benefit the Nevada Children’s Center on Wednesday, International Children’s Day.
The campaign is taken from the nonprofit center’s slogan, as it works to rehabilitate children against the odds, as many of its clients are working to overcome challenges due to mental and/or behavioral issues.
On Wednesday, participating restaurants have pledged to donate between 10 and 20 percent of their revenue to the center. Restaurants scheduled to take part include Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, 7160 N. Durango Drive, and Joe’s Crab Shack, 1991 N. Rainbow Blvd.
Diners are asked to bring a flier that can be downloaded at nccenter.org.
