Coroner’s office identifies man crushed by truck

A man who died Sunday at a northeast valley truck stop after the jack holding his big rig collapsed was identified as 63-year-old Jose Ayala-Sarabia, the Clark County coroner’s office said Monday.

The coroner’s office said Ayala-Sarabia, of Las Vegas, died from crushing head injuries in the accident.

Las Vegas police said the incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. at the Maverick Truck Stop, 3235 Las Vegas Blvd. North, near Cheyenne Avenue.
